
The wife of President Bola Tinubu, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, expressed confidence in the administration of her husband, stating that it has the best interest of Nigerians at heart. She highlighted the bold policies and programs implemented by the government, emphasizing the goal of laying a good foundation for future generations to build upon. Senator Tinubu commended Nigerians in Sierra Leone for their unity and urged similar unity among Nigerians at home.
During her visit to Sierra Leone, she attended a dinner organized by the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization (NIDO), where she received appreciation for her Renewed Hope Initiative and was encouraged to collaborate with other African First Ladies. The President of NIDO in Sierra Leone expressed confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s administration and requested support for the Nigerian community’s project of establishing a Nigerian Hospital in the country. Some Nigerians in Sierra Leone also advocated for the inclusion of Nigerians in the diaspora in future voting processes. Senator Tinubu was in Sierra Leone to commemorate the UN Day on the Prevention of and Healing from Child Sexual Exploitation, Abuse, and Violence.
